Were revealed at 2010 CES in Las Vegas this week a super gadget for skiers and snowboarders. Now you can film your best rides with these goggles from Liquid Image.
The camera can take photos at 5.0 mega pixel resolution (2560 x 1920) and and film videos in 720×480 pixel resolution at 30 frames per second with audio. It uses a Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery and has 16 MB flash memory. You may want to use the SD/SDHC slot to expand its capacity to 16 GB.
It should be simple to operate the camera. Just one button to switch it on and change mode. Another one is used to start recording. There is a red dot in the goggle to let you know the camera is filming. Liquid Image says with 16 GB you should be able to record up to 2.50 hour of footage. That’s so cool.
This model is helmet compatible. The first model of this Summit D1 series, the Summit Series Camera Goggle 335, is expected to ship this summer. Pricing is expected to be around $149 mark.
